Dr Twinkle Choksi is a reputed Consultant Ophthalmologist and Cornea specialist in Mumbai with an experience of over a decade in the field of cataract surgeries and corneal transplants.

She is an experienced surgeon having performed thousands of phacoemulsification cataract surgeries with monofocal, toric, multifocal, trifocal and EDOF lens implantation. She is proficient in management of congenital cataract surgery with IOL implantation and their post-surgical rehabilitation. She is well versed with implantation of scleral fixated and iris claw lenses in complicated eyes with eye trauma or subluxated cataract. 

She is In-charge Cornea services at Nair hospital and is proficient in treatment of complex corneal infections. She has vast experience in all types of corneal surgeries including the conventional transplants and advanced lamellar transplants like DSAEK, DSEK, DMEK and DALK.

She also has special interests in management of keratoconus and custom collagen cross linking for progressive keratoconus. She co-mentors research on sub 400 protocol for performing corneal cross linking thin corneas. She performs specialised contact lens fittings for keratoconus and lamellar corneal transplant for advanced disease.

Currently Dr. Twinkle Choksi holds a teaching position in the department of Ophthalmology at T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital. She has mentored numerous postgraduate students in doctoral thesis and surgical training.
